Do you offer classes for adults?
Yes — Teen & Adult classes run Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:40 PM, led by Senior Instructor Randy Baker with a unique curriculum built for adults and teenagers. We also highly recommend parents jump into class with their children ages 4–12 in the same Basics program classes.
Do I need to be in shape before starting?
One of the main reasons our students start is to get in shape or begin an activity. We challenge our students to get stronger, but you can always pass on or modify exercises you're not comfortable with or have never done before.
What makes the Teen/Adult curriculum different?
Mr. Randy Baker — a home-grown 3rd dan who trained here from white belt — runs the Family and Teen/Adult program with its own curriculum: life skills applicable to adult life, eye-level training for adults and teenagers, and philosophy applicable to today's life challenges.
Do you offer family martial arts programs?
Every class at Han's World Class Taekwondo Academy is offered as a family program. We supplement parents' training with a monthly Parent's Workshop where we cover topics and curriculum in depth.
Do you teach self-defense?
Self-defense is built into our program — we practice our self-defense curriculum every other week, plus seasonal offerings like Women's Self-Defense clinics and group self-defense courses. We also offer weapons training and MMA/UFC-style striking with Eddie Cha's Striking System.
