General
We have different pricing for all budgets we are a family owned business and we understand that not every student has the luxury of paying whatever we might ask, however our main objective is to have you or your child evaluate our program, and for our instructors and masters evaluate your family and student.
We operate on a triangle system, parents will be expecting the highest level of instruction and quality on the mat, and to see improvements from their students at home, school, and on the mat, instructors will be expecting consistency in attendance and students who want to be here to learn, and students will be looking for the activity that will hopefully take them to college/university with instilled values and applicable skills, into their adult lives.
With all things considered we ask that all families interested in our school qualify for the program, and vice-versa, to qualify us as a school that will be the destination for you or your student's development for many years to come.
You or your child will be getting a full 40-minute class where students will be expected to warm-up, learn curriculum, and end class with some action.
We recommend all students joining in on a trial class to wear comfortable clothing they can move in, we highly recommend removing socks, as they tend to create some static and sometimes slip on our mats. We recommend bringing a water or drink so that you or your student can hydrate during our key water breaks segmented between our warmup and curriculum portions.
When arriving for your trial class, we highly recommend checking in via text, at (360)254-1400 and arriving 5-10 minutes before your lesson to fill out a quick waiver form and survey along with getting a tour of the school and some time to meet some faces on the mat!
The free trial class is our easiest way to see what our program is about, from the beginner level experience. Whether it's Family class with our Senior Instructor, Mr Randy Baker, or a Children's trial lesson for your 4-year old with Master Matthew Han or Grandmaster Kyeong S. Han.
We've seen the greatest click when students are able to experience a class with no strings attached, and decide from there if this is the school or activity for them.
If and when your student qualifies and also qualifies us as the activity for them, we like to build habits by following your free trial up with a 4-week trial program to build a habit of coming to class and seeing if this really will be an activity that they will be interested in doing.
Once students are enrolled, they will begin their program at the Basics level, where they will learn fundamental techniques, warmup routines, and exercises to ensure their success at the Intermediate level.
Once a student has met the requirements from the Basics program, they will be offered an opportunity to join Intermediates class and the Elite club.
Elite club is our 30 minute extra segmented class for things we can't get done in a 40-minute class. Ranging from building confidence and teamwork with Breaking skills, to Self-defense utilizing Taekwondo Sparring, and building their dexterity and coordination with Weapons training, key for students aged 5-9, as this is the most important developing years for their dexterity and coordination.
We also offer sport Taekwondo opportunities at competition, at the Local, State, and National stages. This is an additional program and commitment that is usually recommended once a student is in the Intermediates or Advanced programs.
